The Department has managed to achieve the following:

1.    Increased the number of computerized exams that can be conducted in the computer labs to (250) exams per semester in cooperation with King Abdullah II School for Information Technology (KASIT).

2.    The installation and operation of more than one thousand personal computers during the fourth quarter of the academic year 2013/2013, to serve faculty, administrative members and student computer labs.

3.    Introduced three new laboratories at the Scientific Halls Complex, Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences and Faculty of Pharmacy. Work is ongoing to establish a modern laboratory with 200 PC’s at the Faculty of Medicine.

4.    Replaced 85% of the old lab equipments and printers with modern and high specification ones.

5.    The Department has repaired many computer equipments, re-used some of them and sold many to employees at promotional prices.

6.    The department provides genuine Microsoft software (Windows7 and Office 2010) within the Microsoft software license agreement.

7.    The Department is considering providing all computer labs with camera control systems for round-the-clock monitoring. Implementation of service is expected within the next academic year.

8.    The Department is responsible for the coordination and management of multimedia and computerized lectures, workshops and exams for external bodies (Jordanian Medical Council, Ministry of Health, Social Security ...).

9.    The Department is responsible for sustaining the work of the computer labs through the continuous supply of inks and paper.
