Direct Admission to the University of Jordan/Aqaba Opens, Subject to Minimum Admission Requirements
Based on the Higher Education Council's decision to authorize the University of Jordan/Aqaba to admit Jordanian students holding the Jordanian General Secondary Education Certificate issued by schools in the Aqaba Governorate for the current or previous academic years, through direct/competitive admission to the regular Bachelor's degree program for the 2024/2025 academic year, according to available vacancies in each specialization, the Registrar of the University of Jordan/Aqaba announces the availability of seats in the regular program in the specializations listed below.
Those wishing to register, whether students previously admitted to the regular/unified admission program who wish to change their specialization or students who did not previously receive competitive admission, should submit an application at the university building on Thursday, October 17, 2024, Saturday, October 19, 2024, and Sunday, October 20, 2024, bringing their national ID and a copy of their General Secondary Education Certificate transcript.
Important Notes:
1- Only Jordanian students who obtained their Jordanian General Secondary Education Certificate from schools in the Aqaba Governorate in the current or previous years are eligible to apply for direct admission.
2- Students who were previously admitted to the regular/unified admission program and wish to change their major, or students who did not receive a previous competitive admission, may apply for direct admission.
3- Submitting an application does not guarantee admission to the desired major. Vacancies in majors will be filled competitively according to the available spaces in each major, the available capacity, and within the minimum admission requirements outlined in the general admission policy. Students accepted into their majors will be notified at the beginning of next week.

The minimum high school GPA for these specializations is 65%.
