The College of Languages ​​organized a welcoming event attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Hala Abu Taleb, the heads of the three departments, the Director of Student Services, faculty members, and members of the Student Union Council.

Prof. Dr. Abu Taleb welcomed the new and returning students and wished them a year full of success and achievement. She also drew attention to some of the systems and policies that students must follow, and then urged them to always be role models for other students.

The heads of departments also spoke with the students about a number of ideas that can contribute to facilitating the academic and personal experience for students, in addition to emphasizing some tips to help students excel and succeed during their studies.

At the end of the event, the members of the Union Council were given the opportunity to introduce themselves to the new students as representatives and advocates for students’ rights. The event was concluded by Mr. Mohammed Qabaa, Director of the Student Affairs Department, who called on students to participate in volunteer work and extracurricular activities, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in building students’ personalities and contributing to their future success.​
