The University of Jordan, since its establishment, has realized the importance of research and its role in the development of nations. As part of the philosophy and mission of pursuing distinction amongst its activities in establishing a cultural passion for research and discovery and in supporting, promoting its tools, the University of Jordan has entrusted special diligence to scientific research and founded in the year 1973, the Deanship of Academic Research (DAR).

It is also worth mentioning that UJ’s Faculty members and researchers has published so far more than 17000 research paper in local and international refereed and reputable Journals. The body of research and academic contributions of UJ’s members also includes about 200 books and more than 110 patents.
